Chairman Lu Jie Visits Kazakhstan to Deepen a New Chapter of Communication Cooperation

From October 27 to 30, Lu Jie, Chairman and President of the Group, led a delegation to inspect and guide the work of Guodong Group Kazakhstan Co., Ltd., and held talks with major operator clients in Kazakhstan. Lu Zhenhuan, Director of the Group, Assistant President and General Manager of Shanghai Guodong, and Hu Longke, Vice President of the Group, General Manager of the International Department and President of the International Company, accompanied the delegation.
On the morning of the 28th, Chairman Lu Jie held talks with Kazakhstan's operator Tele2/Altel. Tele2 warmly welcomed Chairman Lu Jie and his delegation. The two sides had in-depth exchanges of views on topics such as pilot cooperation and project implementation.
On the 30th, Chairman Lu Jie went to Astana to hold talks with the senior management of Kazakhtelecom. Yerzhan Melemov, Chief Administrative Officer of Kazakhtelecom, and other leaders attended the talks. Mr. Yerzhan first extended a warm welcome to Chairman Lu Jie and his delegation, and highly praised Guodong Group's professional strength and pragmatic style. Chairman Lu Jie expressed his gratitude to Kazakhtelecom for its support to Guodong, and stated that he looks forward to in-depth cooperation to contribute to the construction of Kazakhstan's communication infrastructure. The two sides also reached a consensus on supporting industrial chain cooperation and subsequent high-level mutual visits.
In response to China's "Belt and Road" Initiative, Guodong Group has actively promoted the layout of its international strategy. The fruitful achievements of this trip to Kazakhstan not only demonstrate the strength and determination of Chinese communication enterprises to "go global", but also show Guodong's important responsibility of actively participating in the infrastructure construction of countries along the route and contributing to the local social development, thus making Guodong's contribution to deepening China-Kazakhstan economic and trade cooperation. Guodong Group will continue to deepen its cooperation with partners in Kazakhstan, work together to promote the development of local communication industry, and contribute to regional economic and social development.
